I’m based in the burbs of Portland, Oregon, and I’m always happy to bring the game to your neighborhood, living room, or favorite hangout spot.

Mahjong is a classic Chinese game with a story as rich as its tiles. While its exact origins are a bit of a mystery, we do know it landed in the U.S. in the 1920s and quickly stole hearts everywhere. Today, thanks to the National Mahjong League (NMJL), we have clear rules that keep every game fair, fun, and full of strategy.
At PDX Mahjong Club, I stick to NMJL rules, so you’ll get the real deal from the very first hand. Whether you’re just learning or already a tile-shuffling pro, there’s always a new trick to discover and a new laugh to share.
